St. Louis based Professional Commercial Interiors (PCI), a WBE commercial interiors contractor, recently completed
Phase I of a four phase turnkey demolition and renovation project at Eastman Chemical's Maryville location. Phase I consisted of a complete demolition and renovation of Eastman chemical's 1420 square foot Canteen North. For its part, PCI managed all demolition of existing space as well as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring, painting and installation of cabinetry & counter tops in the new break room and gathering space. Additionally, as part of phase I, PCI provided demolition and renovation services for the 400 square foot elevator lobby. Demolition included flooring and fabric covered wall panels which were both replaced with new flooring and floor to ceiling tile. In order to minimize the traffic flow and impact to Eastman Chemical employees, all flooring demo and install was conducted after hours. The remainder of services provided occurred during normal work hours in an active work setting with no impact to employees and zero safety incidents.
